Maureen FitzSimons's early accomplishments in the performing arts, that are now known as Maureen O'Hara, would certainly qualify her to being in the "child prodigy" category. The traits she displayed were normal to a person born in Ireland. by talented parents as well as a loving and supportive family. Maureen entered this caring haven on the 17th of August 1920 at Ranelagh (a suburb of Dublin), Ireland. Marguerita FitzSimons' mom, Lilburn, was a contralto. Charles FitzSimons was a successful businessman from Dublin who also owned a part of the Irish Shamrock Rovers soccer team. Maureen was the third of six FitzSimons children - Peggy, Florrie, Charles B. Fitzsimons, Margot Fitzsimons and James O'Hara completed this beautiful family.
