Lesley Ann Brandt was a South Africa actress and model born on 2 December 1981. Her most prominent role is in TV and films. Brandt started her career as a model in New Zealand with the sitcom Diplomatic immunity. Her American debut was in her part as Naevia on the historical drama Spartacus: Blood and Sand. In the last decade she has appeared in a ton of TV shows including the likes of Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies as well as The Librarians. In 2016, Brandt has played the role as Mazikeen in the popular urban fantasy show Lucifer with Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was raised in the city of Cape Town in South African. Her move to Auckland, New Zealand with her family in her late teens. Her career began as model for print ads and commercial ads. Her rise to stardom as a model began while she was working in retail and recruitment for information technology. In 2009, she was a part-time actress in an New Zealand television sitcom called Diplomatic Immunity as Leilani. Her debut appearance came in Spartacus Blood and Sand in 2021. She was Naevia who was a slave in that show. In the mini-series Spartacus Gods of the Arena She reprised her role Naevia. She co-starred alongside actor Craig Parker in three different TV series: Diplomatic Immunity (2009) Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). She also was cast to play a bounty hunter demon called Mazikeen in the Netflix series Lucifer. The role is her most prominent so far. The show is paired with Tom Ellis Lauren French Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
